The Bi-Fold door has been designed for maximum enjoyment of unobstructed views, enabling a connection between the indoors and outdoors. These doors are suitable for balcony door areas, outdoor rooms and alfresco areas and in particular when you have wide views or an outdoor entertainment area. Bi-Fold doors can be constructed in several configurations, up to 6 panels, and can stack to one side or for multiples, to both sides. We install a specialised bottom roller system that will support the bi-fold door weight on the sill rather than on the top of the frame.
Bi-Fold doors are compatible with double glazing. Variety of glazing options are available, including toughened, low-e, laminated and sealed double glazing with insulated glass units up to 25mm in thickness.
MRI’s Bi – fold doors are Engineered and tested to Australian Standards AS2047 and AS1170 for structural performance and weather resistance and glazed in accordance with AS1288.
